Altrixy offers six purpose-built templates, each optimized for a different use case:

Case Study Template#
The Case Study template is ideal for deep-diving into a single product initiative. It produces a structured narrative following the PM storytelling framework:
Sections included:
- Overview — One-paragraph summary of the project
- Problem Statement — What challenge or opportunity existed
- Approach — How you framed the solution and made decisions
- Execution — The build process, cross-functional collaboration, and trade-offs
- Results — Quantified outcomes with before/after metrics
- Learnings — What you would do differently and key takeaways
This is the most popular template for job applications. Prepare 2-3 case studies covering different product skills (growth, 0-to-1, platform, etc.).
Product Launch Template#
The Product Launch template highlights your ability to bring a product to market:
Sections included:
- Product Vision — The long-term vision and why this product matters
- Market Context — Competitive landscape and user need
- Strategy — Go-to-market plan, positioning, and pricing decisions
- Execution Timeline — Key milestones from ideation to launch
- Launch Day — What happened on launch day, channels used, and initial reception
- Metrics & Impact — Post-launch metrics over 30/60/90 days
Customizing Template Output#
Every template output can be customized after generation:
- Add sections — Click the "+" button between any two sections to insert a new one
- Remove sections — Hover over a section header and click the trash icon
- Reorder sections — Drag and drop section headers to rearrange
- Change tone — Select from Professional, Conversational, Technical, or Executive in the toolbar
- Regenerate sections — Click the refresh icon on any section to get a new AI draft
You can also save custom templates by editing a generated portfolio and clicking Save as Template in the menu. Custom templates appear alongside the defaults in the Template Picker.
Template Content Library#
The Template Content Library is a collection of pre-written content blocks you can insert into any portfolio:
- Metric callouts — Formatted stat blocks (e.g., "37% increase in conversion")
- Skill badges — Visual skill tags with proficiency levels
- Timeline blocks — Horizontal or vertical timelines for project phases
- Quote blocks — Testimonials from colleagues or stakeholders
- Comparison tables — Before/after or feature comparison layouts
Access the library by clicking Insert Block in the editor toolbar. Each block can be customized with your own content after insertion.
